Eileen was a prominent feature in my childhood, I spent many happy hours playing at her home/garden with Alison and all our friends, she was also a good friend to my Mum and all the other neighbours. Whenever I think of her I see her beaming friendly smile , she will be very sadly missed ❤️

Wonderful memories, largely based on Harlech, where it seems all our holidays used to take place. But also of the excitement of going to visit and stay overnight at number 14. Being sent to bed at about 8 or 9 o'clock, and sitting at the top of the stairs listening to the sounds of laughter going on into the evening.
The most enduring memory I have always had is of "aunty" Eileen's laugh and her big smile.
And isn't that just how things are meant to be?
Don and Eileen were an enormous part of our formative years. I always wondered, as a kid, if I was going to be lucky enough to have friends that meant as much to me as the Shaws were to my parents.
A special lady. Never to be forgotten.

One of my mum's best friends 'aunty' Eileen was a huge part of my childhood. Holidays spent at her caravan in Harlech, playing in her huge garden driving around in her mini.....what a fantastic adventure!!! She was always someone I felt safe and happy with. She will certainly be missed. Sending much love xx
